'Jawan' sold 1.5 lakh tickets on the first day of Advance booking, leaving behind Pathan

After the strong success of 'Pathan' released this year, now the break has started with the record of Shahrukh's 'Jawaan' film. The advance line of 'Jawaan' has started and within some time there was a stir. In the last day itself, 'Jawan' broke the record of 'Pathan'. The advance line of the film started at 10 am on Friday (September 1).
Within just 4 hours 'Jawaan' sold around 60000 tickets across 3 National Chains PVR, Inox and Cinepolis. By the end of the day the film around 1.5 lakh tickets were sold. With this, Jawaan broke the record of 'Pathan' (1.17 lakh). There are still 5 more days left for the release of 'Jawaan'. The highest ticket selling film in advance coach so far is 'Bahubali 2' (Hindi), with 6.50 lakh tickets sold out.
